A refined menu by Nespresso

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Nespresso dinner event that happened a few weeks ago, in honour of Montreal en Lumiére. The event was held in a beautiful establishment in downtown Montreal, decorated perfectly for the occasion. Although the night has passed, the meals and the experience are definitely memories that I will cherish. Here’s a throwback to the tasty evening.

The night started with a champagne and coffee tasting activity, directed by the sommelier Élyse Lambert. It was the perfect start to get our senses and our tastebuds ready for the 5 course meal.

World-renowned chefs were present, and created stunning dishes around coffee. Not only were they presented stunningly, the dishes were also creative and perfumed right enough. My favourite was the duck foie gras pâté en croûte and the veal rice signed Joseph Viola. I also loved the appetizer, a cream of mushroom gambas cappuccino and its Dharken Grand, by the same chef.

The desserts — yes, there were more than one! — were perfect. I adored the meringue shell and its Meyer lemonsauce, a Roland Del Monte signed dish.
