1. What colours are we seeing a lot for this year’s Holiday decorations?

We’re seeing three primary and distinct colour palettes for 2017:

– Frosty whites pairs with sparkling silver, and pale blue creating an icy, updated traditional look. Pairing this deep freeze cold palette with soft textures will add warmth to your winter wonderland.

– Rich bold cobalt blue with dramatic black and gold, will give create a luxurious environment anyone would be happy to entertain in.

– Classic red and green gets updated with hints of denim blue and black. These colours are casual at their core which will have your home feeling comforting, simple and familiar.

2. What rules should we keep in mind when deciding on a theme for our home?

The best part about the holidays is, there are no rules!  The holidays can be a sentimental and personal time. I would recommend that grouping treasured ornaments with new ones to recapture precious memories. You can also start fresh by taking cues from your interior colours.

3. How much is too much when it comes to Holiday decorations?

To keep your holiday decorating from feeling over whelming, stick to a colour palette and overall style. Don’t be afraid to mix metals either! Gold, silver, bronze and copper all work beautifully together especially during the holiday season. Then add an elegant finishing touch to your décor to finish the look.
